Pixify Licensing Simplified
A simple guide to understanding Pixify licenses. For the complete legal agreement, see our EULA.
Commercial Use
All paid licenses (Pro, Teams, Enterprise) allow commercial use. You can use Pixify for:
- Client work and freelance projects
- Internal company workflows
- Team collaboration (with appropriate license tier)
- Commercial products and services
Important: Public SaaS or API services require a special SaaS Integration License. Contact us for details.
The free version is permitted for personal projects only. Commercial use requires a paid license.
Single User License (Pro)
Pro license covers use on up to 3 devices belonging to the same individual user.
- This license is for personal or freelance work by a single person.
- You may install and activate Pixify on up to 3 of your personal devices (e.g., work laptop, home desktop, development server).
Redistribution & Resale
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or rebrand the Pixify binary or executable.
- Use Pixify to build a competing image optimization service or SaaS product without a Service (SaaS) License.
- Embed or bundle Pixify Engine inside another commercial product without written permission.
- Reverse engineer or extract the core engine to use in competing products.
Allowed: Using Pixify CLI as part of your development workflow, CI/CD pipelines (with appropriate license), and internal company tools.

Your license is tied to a specific number of devices:

You can deactivate a device and move your license to another device from your dashboard. Enterprise plans allow unlimited devices.
Local Processing
Your license grants you the right to use the Pixify Engine locally on your devices:
- All image processing happens on your local machine
- No images are uploaded to any server
- Complete privacy and data control
Not permitted: Using Pixify Engine as a backend service for a public website or API without a SaaS Integration License.

- One-time payment
- Lifetime access to the software
- Updates included (duration varies by plan)
- No recurring fees
- Great value for long-term use
Subscription
- Monthly or yearly payments
- Access while subscription is active
- All updates included
- Cancel anytime
- Flexible for short-term projects
License Types
Personal License
For individual developers and freelancers. Personal or client work only.
Team License
For teams and small companies. Multiple seats, shared workflows.
Enterprise License
For large organizations. Unlimited devices, dedicated support, SLA.
SaaS Integration License
Contact us for custom pricing based on your usage volume.
