These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pixify website, purchase of licenses, and relationship with Mohammed Gaber ("Developer," "We," "Us"). By using our website or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms.

Pixify is a local CLI tool that processes images 100% on your device. We do not store, upload, or have access to your images.

1.1 No Image Storage

Pixify operates as a local tool (Local-First CLI). All image processing happens on your device:

  • We do not upload images to cloud services or our servers.
  • We do not store any image data, file names, or image content.
  • You are fully responsible for your images and their security on your local device.
  • All processing is performed locally using the Pixify binary tool.

1.2 Accounts & License Keys

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key.
  • Sharing or publicly exposing your license key will result in automatic key revocation without refund.
  • You must not create multiple accounts to circumvent license limits.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these Terms.

1.3 License Activation

License activation requires online verification only. Image processing happens 100% offline.

  • License keys are activated via online verification to our servers. This is a one-time process during initial setup.
  • Once activated, all image processing happens 100% offline on your local device. No internet connection is required for processing images.
  • License validation may occur periodically (heartbeat) to verify license status, but this does not affect image processing functionality.
  • Offline activation mode is available for air-gapped environments. Contact support for offline activation instructions.

2. Payments & Refunds

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through PayPal, a trusted payment processor. We do not store or have access to your credit card information.

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • The license key has not been activated or has been activated for less than 14 days.
  • You have not exceeded 10% of the monthly image processing limit for your plan.
  • The refund request is made within 14 days of purchase.
  • No refunds are available after the guarantee period or if the license has been shared or abused.

Subscription & Lifetime Licenses

  • Monthly/Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.:
  • Lifetime licenses provide lifetime access to the software version available at the time of purchase, plus updates for the duration specified in your plan.:
  • You may cancel subscriptions at any time, but refunds are only available within the 14-day guarantee period.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or bypass license verification systems.
  • Use the software to process illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Abuse or overload our license verification systems.
  • Resell, redistribute, or share access to the software without proper licensing.

4. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability:

  • We are not responsible for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • The software is designed to work offline; license verification may require occasional internet connectivity.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

5. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Update pricing for new customers; existing lifetime license holders are not affected by price increases.
  • Add, modify, or remove features at any time.
  • Update these Terms with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
  • Change license limits or features based on your plan tier.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software and service are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

While we ensure technical functionality, we are not responsible for:

  • Any damage caused by user error or misuse of the software.
  • Hardware incompatibilities or system requirements not met by the user.
  • Data loss or corruption resulting from improper use.
  • Interruptions in service due to external factors.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
